Anton Demyshev is an accomplished violinist and violist whose international career spans prestigious orchestral appointments and elite pedagogy. He began his musical journey at age five, quickly emerging as a standout talent and earning a scholarship from the Governor of the Orenburg Region. He completed his foundational training at the Special College of Music in Ufa and was recognized in 2014 with the “Young Talents of Russia” prize. He later graduated from the renowned Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow, where he refined his artistry under the tutelage of Professor Vyacheslav Trushin and Olga Kozhurina.
A seasoned performer, Anton served for four years as a soloist and member of the Exemplary Symphony Orchestra of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. From 2020 to 2022, he held a position in the viola section of the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Moscow Philharmonic. His career has taken him to premier stages across the globe, including tours throughout Austria, Switzerland, Singapore, Vietnam, China, and Turkey. In 2022, his international standing was further confirmed when he won a competitive audition for the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, securing offers for both an orchestral role and a faculty position at Bilkent University in Ankara.
Throughout his career, Anton has collaborated with many of the most legendary figures in classical music. He has performed under the baton of conductors such as Placido Domingo, Paavo Järvi, Valery Gergiev, and Philippe Herreweghe, and has shared the stage with world-renowned soloists including Anne-Sophie Mutter, Denis Matsuev, and Yuri Bashmet. His professional versatility is also reflected in his work alongside iconic cultural figures like Gérard Depardieu and diverse pop artists.
