Fifth Annual Competition Music Through The Centuries

Online Audition Requirements (First Round):

Application deadline: July 1st.
Accepting online applications for musical performance for all instruments, voice, and composition – solo, duo, trio, ensemble, choir, and orchestra

Judging Period: 2nd July 2025 to 5th July 2025 (Competition Results will be emailed)
 Instruments: All musical instruments, including piano, string instruments, wind instruments, and percussion.
Repertoire: One piece of music (free choice) that is reflective of the applicant’s  current level of performance. One piece of music refers to a piece of music that contains only one movement, or one movement taken from a larger scale work, such as a sonata or concerto.

One piece of music per application.
The selected composition should be performed during both rounds of the competition
Final Round will be held at The DiMenna Center for Classical Music Manhattan, New York

Participants may only perform the same composition(s) presented during the First Round.

Final Round (Live) Competition Date: July 21st, 2025 at 4pm

Performance Fee will apply if performing in Live Concerts.

Requirements To Submit Video

Submit an unedited video of the performance as a YouTube link. The video MUST NOT be edited.

Judging

The decision of the jury is final and cannot be appealed. Multiple awards may be given in each age category

Category II

Ages 7 - 9

Category III

Ages 10 - 12

Category IV

Ages 13 - 14

Category V

Ages 15 - 17

Category VI

Ages 18 - 25+

Prizes and Awards:

Winners will receive medals, certificates and cash prize.

Cash prize awards will be based on the complexity of the musical selection, experience and effort.
