Ekaterina Danilova

Ekaterina Danilova was born in Saint Petersburg. After studying at the special music school for gifted children associated with the Saint Petersburg Conservatory under Lubov Rudova, she continued her education at the University of Music Freiburg with Prof. Vitali Berzon and at the University of Music Frankfurt with Prof. Irina Edelstein and Angelika Merkle. She also received important musical impulses from Jacques Rouvier, Dmitri Bashkirov, Andrzej Jasinski, and Gábor Takács-Nagy.

Ekaterina performs solo and chamber music concerts in Germany, France, Taiwan, Japan, Slovenia, and Switzerland. She has been invited to various festivals, including the Festival du Périgord Noir, Maribor Festival, Ljubljana Festival, and others. She is a prizewinner of the Carl Seemann Competition and the Verbier Festival and a scholarship recipient of the Rosenberg Foundation, Association for International Understanding, and Zonta Club Munich.

Since 2007, she has held a teaching position at the University of Music in Freiburg.
