Liya Ledyaeva was born in Siberia, Russia, and began her musical education at the age of 4 in a special program for young talents. She later attended the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, studying piano with Galina Fedorova and organ with Nina Oksentyan. Liya graduated in 2007 with a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Organ. During this time, she participated in and won numerous international competitions.
For the past 15 years, she has been teaching music to both adults and children at one of the renowned music schools in Saint Petersburg.
Liya has performed across the globe, gracing the stages of distinguished concert halls in Russia, the United States, Slovenia, and the United Kingdom. She is passionate about sharing her wide-ranging musical experiences with her students.
Her expertise is evident through her students’ achievements, including clinching 1st prizes at the United States Music Competition in 2023 and 2024, and performing at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York (USA), Salle du Munsterhof in Strasbourg (France), and others
