Tatiana Kubatina is a pianist and experienced piano instructor with a strong background in the performing arts industry. She is the founder of Pleasanton Academy of Music and the Music Through The Centuries International Competition and Festival.
Tatiana graduated from the St. Petersburg Conservatory under the mentorship of Professor Nina Seregina. She later earned a Master of Music degree under the guidance of Jerry Wong at Kent State University. She learned a Professional Studies Diploma in Piano Performance at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Professor Yoshikazu Nagai. Tatiana pursued private studies with renowned instructors, including Wha Kyung Byun, Nina Seregina, Arnaldo Cohen, Phillip Kawin, Jeffrey Cohen, Myong-joo Lee, Jerry Wong, Yoshikazu Nagai, and Ekaterina Murina.
As a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California, Tatiana has guided numerous students to achieve distinction in the Royal Conservatory of Music (ABRSM) and the United States Open Music Competition. She holds university-level teaching certification, and many of her students have earned top awards and high honors in international piano competitions.
