Tatiana Rostovtseva was born on July 28, 1983 in Murmansk, Russia.
In 2002 she graduated from Murmansk Conservatory in Solo Piano with distinction. In 2009 she completed the comprehensive training inter alia in music education, solo piano, accompaniment, at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg with the renowned Beethoven interpreter Prof. Tatiana Zagorovskaya and at the University of Music Karlsruhe with Prof. Michael Uhde and Prof. Markus Stange, each with a diploma and top grades.
During her studies she won prizes in more than 20 international competitions and was a fellow of the city of Murmansk, the regional government of Murmansk, the Russian Ministry of Culture, the DAAD and the Richard Wagner Foundation. She had solo performances in the Moscow Conservatory, in the Moscow Glinka Hall, in the Kremlin and in the St. Petersburg “Big October” Hall.
On occasion of her performance in the Kremlin she was invited to perform a solo program at a large Montserrat Caballé gala. She further recorded for radio and television in Murmansk and St. Petersburg.
She took interpretation and master classes with Bruno Canino, Sergey Dorenski, Dmitri Bashkirov, Elisso Virsaladze, Aleksey Kandinsky, Vladimir Tropp and Leo Naomov. She has been living in Munich since 2013. She has an active concert schedule and also gives intensively teaches piano. Several of her students won prizes in international competitions and passed entrance exams at colleges of music.
