Born in 1983 in Chelyabinsk, Russia, she began studying piano at the age of six in Vyborg, near Saint Petersburg. Recognizing her passion for music at an early age, she moved to Saint Petersburg at 14 to pursue her professional musical education at the prestigious M. P. Mussorgsky Music College, where she specialized in piano performance, accompaniment, and chamber music.

After graduating with honors at the age of 18, she continued her studies at the Saint Petersburg State Conservatory. During this period, she maintained an active performance schedule, participating in competitions, appearing as a soloist, and collaborating with instrumental ensembles, vocalists, and orchestras. At the age of 23, she completed her advanced musical education, earning qualifications as a concert pianist, concertmaster, and chamber musician.

Ms. Lott began her teaching career at the age of 18 and has since accumulated extensive experience nurturing young musicians. In 2010, she relocated to Germany, where she continued her teaching career at the Unterer Neckar Music School and a private piano studio for gifted children in Schwetzingen.

Her students have received numerous first prizes and distinctions at national and international competitions, including Jugend musiziert (Germany), Music Through the Centuries International Competition (USA, with performances at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and Salle Mozart in Strasbourg), Piano Forum Competition (England), Maple Leaf Competition (Canada), and Tonkünstlerwettbewerb (Stuttgart), among others. Her violin-piano duo also received the Grand Prix at the International Edelweiß Competition in Vienna.

In addition to her teaching activities, Ms. Lott remains an active concert pianist, performing chamber music and presenting literary-musical programs. She is currently preparing a series of performances in Paris featuring repertoire for two pianos.

Dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians, she also leads the “Classical Music for Children” program at Haßmersheim Comprehensive School, introducing young students to classical music through engaging and age-appropriate activities.

Maria Lott currently resides in Haßmersheim, Germany, where she continues to combine her passion for performance, music education, and the artistic development of young musicians.
